AP TET May, 2012 Hall Tickets are ready for Download

Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) hall tickets are available online for download at http://aptetmay2012.cgg.gov.in/SearchHallTicketAPTET05871109.aptet. Date of exam is 31-05-2012.

What is TET?

In accordance with the provisions of sub – section (1) of section 23 of the Right to Education Act (RTE), 2009, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) had vide it’s Notification dated 23rd August 2010 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that she/he should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE. Accordingly, Government of Andhra Pradesh have issued guidelines for conducting Teacher Eligibility Test in A.P. vide G.Os.

Selection Procedure:
1. Integrated programmes – Provisional selections will be on merit based on marks in Class 12 /QE.
2. B.Pharm – Merit will be drawn by giving (i) 50% weightage to AIEEE 2012 / AIPMT 2012 score, (ii) 50% weightage to academic performance (Class 12 marks).
3. BHMCT – Provisional selections will be on merit based on marks in Class 12 /QE.

How to Apply:
1. Integrated IMBA and Integrated IMCA – Eligible candidates to fill-in the online application form available on Institute website and send printout with enclosures and download the Bank Challan Form (SBI/ICICI) from our website to deposit the application fee for Rs.2,000/- (Rs.1,200/- for SC/ST) (non-refundable) in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology” in a SBI / ICICI bank and enter the Challan number and other required details of the payment as issued by the bank within the given time period. Printout the completed form and send with requisite enclosures to the office of Dean, Admission & Academic Coordination, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – 835215 by IS June 2012.The link for filling the online form will be active from 9 am on 10 May 2012 to 7 pm on 11 June 2012.

3. Integrated Common Entrance Test for admission into MBA and MCA courses of all universities in Andhra Pradesh and their Affiliated Colleges (Being conducted on behalf or APSCHE)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates to appear at the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET-2012) for admission into MBA and MCA courses (full-time/part-time/evening/distance mode) offered by State Universities in Andhra Pradesh including their affiliated colleges for the academic year 2012-2013 to be conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal in 27 Regional centres (as per GO.Ms.No. 25. dated: 19.03.2004; GO.Ms.No.108 dated 30-7-2005; and GO. Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET-2012) will be conducted by JNTU Kakinada, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.57 HE (EC.2) Dept dt: 12.05.08 and G.O.Ms.No.43 dt: 25.05.2011 for admission of Diploma Holders and B.Sc Graduates with Mathematics under Lateral Entry scheme into 2nd year (20% supernumerary seats) of regular B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharmacy Under Graduate programmes offered in AICTE/PCI approved Institutions in A.P for the academic year 2012-13. ADMISSION TEST
The Entrance Examination for all the courses will hold on 06-05-2012 (Sunday) (Date can be changed if there are unavoidable reasons), at the following centers: Agartala, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Ranchi, Raipur, Lucknow, Deharadun, Jaipur, Manipur, Jammu and Gangtok.

The prospectus containing the application form and other details may be obtained on request along with a demand draft of Rs. 2150/- for General Category and Rs. 1650/- for SC/ST drawn on any ot the Nationalised Banks in favour of “Accounts Officer, Film and Television Institute of India,” payable at Pune.
