LAWCET & PGLCET-2011Applications are invited for appearing Post-graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) tor admission into M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm./M.Arch./M.PIg. /Graduate Level Pharm D (P.B.) (Full Time) in University and Affiliated Engineering/Pharmacy Colleges in A.P. as per G.O.Ms.No.54 HE Dept (EC-2) dated:21-6-2007 and amendments for the academic year 2011 -2012.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for the Test:
Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of B.E./B.Tech./AMIE/B.Pharmacy/B.Arch/B.Planning or equivalent examination for seeking admission into relevant PG courses and its Specializations/Graduate level Pharm-D (PB) course. For details see the Annexure in the Information Booklet provided with the Application form or in website: and

(1) The vacant seats in PG courses, if any, after admitting GATE/GPAT qualified candidates will be tilled with the candidates based on the Rank secured in the PGECET-2011 Entrance Test. (2) Separate notification will be issued shortly for admission to PG courses in Engineering for GATE/GPAT Qualified candidates. However, such candidates may also appear for PGECET in case they wish to seek admission in other interested specializations. (3) GPAT qualified candidates are eligible for admission into M.Pharmacy courses only. (4) PGECET qualified candidates only are eligible for admission into Graduate level Pharm-D (PB) course. (5). As per the latest AICTE approval process Hand Book 2011-12 eligibility criterion for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy courses is 50% marks in group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category).However candidates shall fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in the relevant GOs at the time of admission.

Last date for the sale & receipt of application forms:
(a) Without late fee – 26-04-2011 through DD
(b) With late fee of Rs.500/- through D.D. – 07.05.2011
(c) With a late fee of Rs.2000/- through D.D. – 21.05.2011

Dates of Entrance Test: 05-06-2011 to 13-06-2011 (Schedule is given in the information booklet)

Prescribed application form for the entrance test together with instructions booklet can be obtained in person through D.D. drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of the Secretary, APSCHE, Hyderabad for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case ot SC/ST students) at the centers (1) IDC, behind University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad – 500007. (2) Office of the Principal. University College of Engineering. Andhra University. (3) Office of the Principal. University College of Engineering, S.V. University. (4) Office of the Director of Admissions, JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. (5) Office of the Director of PG Admissions, Kakatiya University, Warangal. (6) Office of the Principal, Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada. (7) Office of the Director of Admissions, JNTUA, Ananthapur. (8) Office of the Director of Admissions, JNTUK, Kakinada.

Duly filled-in-application forms can be submitted on or before the last date along with relevant documents by Speed Post/Courier to the Convener, PGECET-2011, University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad – 500 007.

Online submission: Applications can also be submitted online. However, a copy of the online downloaded and filled application form along with passport size photograph and D.D. for Rs.450/- (Rs.225/- in case of SC/ST) drawn in favor of “The Secretary, APSCHE” payable at Hyderabad is to be sent to The Convener, PGECET-2011″.     sir, i applied to PGECET 2011 through the on line. I AM MECHANICAL ENGINEERING GRADUATE. but in my hall ticket subject is come with MARINE &MECHANICAL HANDLING. please tell me suggestion… urgently..sir
