Admissions to Part-Time Post Graduate Programme under Self Finance in M.Tech. Chemical Engg ( Plant Design )/ Food Technology (Food Processing Tech.) / Textile Technology (Textile & Apparel Tech.) for the academic year 2014-15

Applications are invited for admission to Part-Time (6- Semester) Post Graduate Courses under Self Finance leading to M.Tech. Chemical Engg. (Plant Design)/ Food Technology (Food Processing Technology) /Textile Technology (Textile & Apparel Technology) for the academic year 2014-2015 No. of seats : 15 + 2 (for Sponsored Candidates) in each programme.

Selection: Through Entrance Test at UG Level conducted by UCT, OU, HYD-7

ELIGIBILITY:

  1. Experience: 2 Years Experience at the time of Admission in Industry / Academics/ R& D in Chemical Engg./ Food / Textile Fields
  2. Educational qualification:

A. For M.Tech Chemical Engineering (Plant Design)
Candidates should be with First Class in four year B.E / B.Tech Chemical Engg or AMIIChE or any other four year degree course equivalent to B.Tech Chemical Engg from a recognized University .

B. For M.Tech Food Technology ( Food Processing Technology )
Candidates should be with first class in four year B.Tech (Food Processing and Preservation Technology / Food Processing Technology / Food Technology /Food Science and Technology / Food Science /Food Process Engineering / Dairy Technology / Dairy Science / Oils and Fat Technology / Fermentation Technology / Food Engineering) and M. Sc. ( Food Technology / Food Science and Technology / Dairy Technology / Food Technology and Management / Marine Technology )

C. For M.Tech Textile Technology ( Textile & Apparel Technology)
Candidates should be with First Class in four year B.Tech.(Textile Technology/Textile Chemistry/Textile Engineering/Fibre Science & Technology/Apparel Technology/ Fashion Technology) / AMIE (Textile Engineering) / four year Degree in Apparel Production Management or its equivalent fiom any recognized University in the relevant subject.

JNTU Part-Time PG Notification-2011

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into Part-Time Post Graduate Programmes offered by JNTUH, Kukatpally Campus, Hyderabad for the academic year 2011 as detailed below:

M.Tech./M.Sc./M.B.A./M.Pharm. Part-Time Programmes:

(1) M.Tech. (Civil Engg.) (2) M.Tech. ( Electrical & Electronics Engg.) (3) M.Tech.(Mechanical Engg.) (4) M.Tech.(Energy Systems) (5) M.Tech. (System & Signal Processing) (6) M.Tech. (Computer Science) (7) M.Tech. (Remote Sensing And GIS) (8) M.Tech. (Bio Technology) (9) M.Tech. (Water and Environmental Technology) (10) M.Tech. (Environmental Management) (11) M.Tech. (Metallurgical Engineering) (12) M.Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Biotechnology) (13) M.Sc.(Applied Chemistry) (14) M.Sc.(Physics) (15) M.B.A. (HR / Finance / Marketing / Systems).

ADMISSIONS: For the above programmes, admission will be made on the basis of performance in the Entrance Examination conducted by JNT University Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Qualifying mark at the entrance examination will be 25% {no minimum for SC & ST candidates).

EMPLOYMENT: For the above programmes candidates must be employed on regular service basis in and around Hyderabad and have an experience of at least one (1) year by 30th June, 2011 after acquiring the prescribed qualification are only eligible to apply.

GENERAL: Eligibility Criteria, intake in each course, the format of application, general instructions, formats of some certificates, information to candidates, syllabi and timetable for entrance test are available on the University website: www.jntuh.ac.in. Interested candidates can download from the website (A4 Size). No separate applications are kept for sale by the University. The filled in application along with all necessary documents and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) drawn (not earlier than 21 03.2011) in favour of “THE REGISTRAR JNT UNIVERSITY, HYDERABAD”, payable at Hyderabad, on any nationalised bank should reach the “Director, Admissions, JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad-500085” on or before 25.04.2011 by 4.00 p.m.

Separate application is to be submitted for each of the 14 disciplines. The University will not be responsible for Postal delay/Loss in transit.

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS: 25.04.2011 by 4.00 p.m.

DATES OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION: 14th, 15th, and 16th May, 2011.
