NIN M.Sc. (Applied Nutrition) Notification

ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION INTO M.Sc. (APPLIED NUTRITION) Affiliated to Dr. NTRUHS, Vijayawada for the Year 2010-11

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 1st year M.Sc. (Applied Nutrition) Course at the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2010-11.

Eligibility: Candidates should have passed MBBS or B.Sc, (Nutrition/ Home Science / Nursing) or B.Sc, (with Biochemistry or Nutrition as one of the major subjects) from recognized Universities.

Obtaining application forms: Application forms along with Prospectus can be obtained in person from the Head of the Department (HoD), Extension & Training Division, National Institute of Nutrition, Jamai-Osmania PO, near Tarnaka Flyover, Hyderabad-500007 or can be downloaded from the Website: (www.ninindia.org) or (www.ntruhs.ap.nic.in). The applications will be available from 10.00 AM of 02.06.2010 to 5.00 PM of 26.06.2010.

Last Date for Submission of Applications: The duly filled in applications along with a demand draft for Rs. 500/- towards Registration fee from any Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of The Director, NIN payable at Hyderabad and necessary enclosures specifying the quota (State or Central) should be submitted to The HoD, Extension and Training Division, National Institute of Nutrition, Jamai-Osmania PO, Hyderabad-500007 on or before 26th June 2010 by 5.00 PM.

Applications received after the last date and time shall be rejected, NIN or Dr. NTRUHS are not responsible for postal delay or loss in transit. Number of seats: Out of the total 16 seats available, 6 are reserved for State Quota for applicants from Andhra Pradesh and 10 are reserved for Central quota for applicants from other States of India.

Entrance Test: The Entrance Test will be conducted at NIN, Hyderabad on 18.07.2010 (Sunday) at 11.00 AM. The eligible candidates should collect their hall tickets in person from HoD, Extension and Training Division, NIN on 16.07.2010 and 17.07.2010 the list of eligible candidates to appear for the test will be displayed on NIN’s website on 16.07.2010. NOTIFICATION FOR M.Sc. / M.Tech. Admission – 2010 (Approved by AICTE)

Common Entrance Examination for Admission into Polytechnics- 2010 (CEEP-2010)

1. The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad will conduct “Common Entrance Examination for admission into Polytechnics (CEEP-2010)” for the candidates seeking admission into all Diploma Courses in Engineering/Non Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics/Institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics/Institutions) in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2010-2011.

2. Eligibility to appear for CEEP-2010: Candidates should have passed, or compartmentally passed, or appearing for SSC or its equivalent examination, recognised as equivalent to S.S.C. by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P., Hyderabad are eligible to apply. The Candidates should have passed in all the subjects or pending result of their qualifying examination, their entry shall be subject to their securing a pass in all the subjects in the said qualifying examination.

Detailed information regarding eligibility, age and syllabi, etc. are given in the “CEEP-2010 Booklet” which is supplied along with ICR FORM and is available for sale at a cost of Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten only) from the Principals of Govt. Polytechnics, Private Polytechnics and AP online centres (Details can be seen on website http://sbtetap.gov.in)

3. Procedure for applying: State Board of Technical Education & Training, AP, Hyderabad has made arrangements to accept online application forms at various AP online/Helpline centres. The detailed list of these centres is available at http://sbtetap.gov.in website. In order to file application through these centres an application fee of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred
only) has to be paid to the operator by the candidate.

Candidates are advised to read these instructions carefully before entering the details on the ICR form and recheck it before the operator presses the confirmation button. Please note that the manual application form is not accepted.

4. IMPORTANT DATES TO NOTE

Details of Web counseling and helpline centres will be available on our website http://sbtetap.gov.in and shall also be notified in all leading newspapers after declaration of CEEP results. Read instructions thoroughly and fill in and apply for CEEP. Keep a xerox copy of ICR form.

DIET CET 2010 – Andhra Pradesh

Common Entrance Test for admission into D.Ed. two years course 2010 – 2012.

NOTIFICATION

Applications in the prescribed form are invited for Common Entrance Test (GET) for selection of candidates for admission into Two Year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) offered in Government District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and in Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the State during the academic years 2010-2012.

Eligibility: Intermediate pass or appear for March / April, 2010 of Board of Intermediate Education, A.P.

Age: 17 years should be completed as on 01-09-2010. There is no upper age limit.

The ICR Form and Application Form duly filled in should be submitted by post to the Convenor. DIET CET – 2010 & Joint Director (Services), O/o C&DSE, A.P, Hyderabad-04.

EAMCET-2010 NOTIFICATION
(Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) (on behalf of APSCHE)

1. Entrance Test:

1.1 A Common Entrance Test, designated as Engineering. Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test – 2010 (EAMCET – 2010) of Andhra Pradesh will be conducted (as per G.O.Ms.No. 16 Edn., (EC) Department DI25/2/2004 and its amendments) by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad for entry into the first year of the following professional courses offered for the academic year 2010-2011 in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
a) B E/B Tech courses
b) B.V.Sc and AH/B.Sc (Ag)/B.Sc (Hort)/B.F.Sc/B.Tech (FS&T)/B.Sc (CA&BM) courses

2. Eligibility

2.1 The minimum qualification to appear for EAMCET-2010 is:
a) A pass in the Intermediate Examination or appearance at 2nd year Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 pattern) conducted by the A.P Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), with appropriate optional subjects or its equivalent thereto recognized by BIE, AP.
b) A pass at Diploma examination or appearance at the final year Diploma Examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, A.P. or its equivalent thereto. Diploma candidates are eligible to apply for B.E/B.Tech./ B.Pharm courses only. Diploma in pharmacy are eligible to apply for Pharm-D course.

2.2 In case of such students who appear for the entrance Test, pending result of their qualifying examination, their entry shall be subject to their securing a pass in the said qualifying examination
2.3 Candidates should be of Indian nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
2.4 Candidates should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh as defined in the A.P. Educational Institutions (regulations for admission) order 1974 and its amendments (vide G-O.P.No. 646 dated 10-7-79 of Education (W) Department).

4.1 Candidates with Mathematics Physics. Chemistry as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit “E” category application for Engineering B.E/B.Tech/B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.)/B Teen (Dairy Technology)/B.Tech.(FST) / B.Sc.(CA&BM) (MPC) / B.Pharm. (MPC)/Pharm-D (MPC) courses.
4.2 Candidates with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects in their intermediate or its equivalent course should submit “AM” category application for B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B V Sc. & AH / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA&BM) / MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / BNYS / B Pharm / B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) (Bi.P.C.) / Pharm-D (Bi.P.C) courses.
4.3 Eligible candidates who intend to seek admission to both the courses in 4.1 and 4.2 have to submit “E” and “AM” category applications.
4.4 Applications form together with the enclosures including the “Instruction Booklet” can be had in person (not by post) on payment of Rs. 250/-(this amount covers the cost of application, fees for entrance test, and towards Service charges) at all e-Seva centres within the state of Andhra Pradesh and designated main branches of Andhra bank outlets given below till 15-04-2010.

5. As per GO. Ms. No. 165 dated 06-09-2007 and GO Ms No. 8 (Amendment to the GO. Ms. No 16) Higher Education Department, dated 27-01-2009. the candidates who have secured qualifying marks in EAMCET and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in EAMCET and 25% weightage to the marks secured m the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

6. However as per G.O Ms No. 181 dated 21-05-2008 of Health Medical and Family Welfare (El) Department for admission into MBBS/BDS courses on the basis of Competitive entrance examination, a candidate for admission to those courses must have obtained not less than 50% marks in physics. Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and EAMCET examination. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC must have obtained not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and EAMCET examination.
As per the Gazette of India Extraordinary under Part-Ill Rule No. 7(2) for admission into BV.Sc & AH Courses on the basis of competitive entrance examination, a candidate under General Category for admission to this course must have obtained 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe or other special category of student as specified by the Government from time to time, marks required for admission shall be 10% less man that prescribed for general category.

7. How to submit Filled in Application Form:

11. The late fee and online submission application fee must be in the form of Demand Draft on any nationalized bank payable at Hyderabad, in favor of the Secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

13 In their own interest, candidates are advised to submit the application online or submit the filled in applications to the concerned regional coordinators in person only, or send it to the convener EAMCET – 2010 by Regd. Post well in advance of the last date prescribed for submission of application without late fee to avoid delays. Convener shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss of application during transit.
