COURSE OBJECTIVE AND AN OVERVIEW:
CPRI weaves its specialized power industry oriented research to skill based and knowledge based training courses / seminars/ workshops to cater to the needs of Power Sector and allied core industry. The 4 Weeks Post Graduate Certificate Course in “TESTING and MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENTS” is targeted against the technical manpower of state/central and private Power Utilities, captive PPs; etc. The Junior and Middle Level Managers/Executives of corporate & PSUs / utilities can attend as sponsored / non-sponsored candidate. The practicing Engineering Graduates and experienced Supervisors of the power sector and electrical service industry can also attend and get benefitted.

ADMISSION SCHEDULE:
With the batch intake limited to 35, normally we can accommodate participants on first come first served basis. If the nominations exceed that, they may be accommodated in the next course, if requested. Therefore it is absolutely essential that the nominations are sent at the earliest or well before January 15, 2014; the last date of closing the nominations. The nomination confirmation to the course shall be intimated to the sponsoring authority/ participants. Change in schedule, if any, will be displayed at the web site of CPRI.


PROGRAM VENUE:
CCAR Auditorium, CPRI, Bangalore.

DURATION AND PERIOD:
4 weeks from January 20 to February 14, 2014.

ACCOMMODATION AND BOARDING:
Non-Air Conditioned accommodation on twin bed sharing basis will be provided to the participants at CCAR. Boarding facility is part of the programme.

COURSE FEE AND MODE OF PAYMENT:
The residential course fee of Rs.1.0 lakh + service tax shall be payable by the participants / sponsoring organization in full along with registration form or before starting date of the course. Any change in the statutory taxes shall be borne by the participants / sponsoring organization. Fees once paid shall NOT be returned, however substitution to nomination is accepted. The fee covers course material, Field visits, food & accommodation, Computer & gymnasium facility, First Aid medical facility on emergency. The course fee paid to CPRI is fully exempt from payment of Income tax and hence no tax shall be deducted at source.
The payment shall be made by Demand Draft payable at Bangalore favouring Senior Accounts Officer, CPRI payable at Bangalore. No other form of payments shall be accepted.
