B.A. / B.Com. Entrance Examination (Open System)

GITAM University’s Centre for Distance Learning (GU-CDL) is one of the few institutions recognized by the Distance Education Council, New Delhi on the recommendation of the Joint Committee of UGC – AICTE – DEC. A degree from GU-CDL will make you eligible for any employment including State and Central Governments.

Eligibility: No formal academic qualification is required to take the entrance examination. However, the candidate should have completed 18 years of age by 1st July of the year of appearance.

Examination Fee: Rs.200

Pattern of Examination: The examination is common for both B.A. & B.Com. The pattern of examination is based on objective type questions in General Knowledge and communication skills to test the aptitude of the learners to pursue higher education.

The duly filled-in Entrance examination application form should be sent by Registered post to the Director, Centre for Distance Learning, 3rd Floor, Balaji Metro Plaza, Dondaparthy, Visakhapatnam-530 016 superscribing on the envelope, B.A./B.Com. Common Entrance Examination Application.

Medium of Examination: Candidates are given option to answer the papers either in English or in Telugu.
