Master of Integrated Water Management (Australia)

The International Water Centre (IWC) is offering several scholarships for high calibre international and domestic students accepted into the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) commencing in Semester 1, 2015. These prestigious scholarships will be awarded on a merit-basis to candidates who clearly demonstrate potential to become future water leaders.
Scholarships available
For international students: up to four (4) scholarships including:
– up to two full scholarships (tuition fees + living expenses) for female candidates who hold citizenship in one of the 85 countries where GWP has a partnership (see IWC website for details), and
– up to two full tuition scholarships available for men and women who meet the minimum eligibility requirements, regardless of their country of origin.
For domestic students: up to two (2) full tuition scholarships for full-time or part-time/distance study of the MIWM program.

Master of Integrated Water Management
The International WaterCentre’s MIWM program is custom-designed and collaboratively delivered by leading industry practitioners and lecturers from IWC’s four founding member universities.

Minimum eligibility requirements
To be eligible for a scholarship, candidates must apply for the MIWM program through The University of Queensland (UQ) and receive an unconditional offer of admission. Candidates should have:
1. A completed undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally-recognised institution
2. Two years of relevant professional experience
3. International students should also demonstrate English language proficiency, as per UQ’s English language requirements

Important dates
• Scholarship applications close on:
1 August 2014 for international students
1 October 2014 for domestic students
• MIWM program commences in February 2015 at UQ (Brisbane)

How to Apply
Candidates need to submit two separate applications:
1. One for the MIWM program at UQ, and
2. One for the scholarships via the online application form available on IWC website: www.watercentre.org/scholarships
