Admission into the B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture and B. Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) courses through AGRICET & AGRIENGGCET – 2018
Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University invites online applications from Diploma holders in Agriculture and Seed Technology for admission into the first year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Degree programme through a Computer Based Test AGRICET-2018 and Diploma holders in Agricultural Engineering for admission into the first year B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) degree programme through a Computer Based Test AGRTENGGCET-2018 for the academic year 2018-19.

| ELIGIBILITY: A pass in Diploma in Agriculture / Seed Technology from PJTSAU / ANGRAU (Those who are going to complete in 2017-18 academic year can also apply). | ELIGIBILITY: A pass in Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from PJTSAU / ANGRAU (Those who are going to complete in 2017-18 academic year can also apply). |

RESERVATION: 85% of the seats are reserved for local candidates and 15% seats will be treated as unreserved quota, as per rules of Government of Telangana.
FEES: OC & BC applicants: Rs.1100/- (Rupees eleven hundred only) + Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card charges.
SC/ST/PH applicants: Rs.600/- (Rupees six hundred only) + Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card charges.
TEST DATE & TIME: 21-07-2018 from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M.

AGRICET – Telugu Language
AGRIENGGCET – English Language
ONLINE COMPUTER BASED TEST: 100 multiple choice objective type questions.
A sample/mock test will be available for practice purpose and to give the candidate a look and feel of the Computer Based Test (CBT) at the University website: www.pjtsau.ac.in one week prior to the Entrance Test.
AGRICET & AGRIENGGCET-2018 RESULTS: Question paper and key will be placed in University website: www.pjtsau.ac.in from 22-07-2018 12:00 Noon to 23-07-2018 12:00 Noon. Any queries /challenges on questions and key, please mail to Convenor, AGRICET &
AGRIENGGCET-2018, e-mail:agricetpjtsau2018@gmail.com before 1:00 PM 23-07-2018, after which no complaints will be received.
The merit list of the candidates will be displayed in the University website: www.pjtsau.ac.in. During the preparation of merit list, in case more than one student secures the same combined score, the tie shall be resolved to decide the relative ranking by successively considering the following:
- The total marks secured in AGRICET & AGRIENNCET-2018.
- The percentage of aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination i.e., Diploma in Agriculture / Diploma in Seed Technology / Diploma in Agricultural Engineering.
- SSC Overall Grade Point
- If the tie still persists the date of birth of the candidates concerned, the older being given preference over the younger.
Admissions will be made strictly as per the rule of reservation based on merit through the Entrance Test.
